S. Jakarta MSMEs Encouraged to Learn Business Management Through Digital Games

The South Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency is encouraging MSMEs to develop their products and improve business management through the “Gang Dagang” digital game platform.

Designed to help MSMEs improve their financial management skills

South Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency Head Djaharuddin said Gang Dagang is a web-based shop simulation game designed to help MSMEs improve their financial management skills through an interactive gaming experience.

BI Supports Digital Transformation of Jakarta MSMEs

"Through this game, MSMEs are taught to distinguish between personal and business expenses because the two must be separated," he highlighted, Wednesday (5/20).

Djaharuddin explained that the game was developed through collaboration between the Jakarta Provincial Government, PT Netzme Kreasi Indonesia, and Ruangguru as part of financial literacy education for MSMEs.

"The platform was launched some time ago, and we have continued promoting and introducing it at various events. Thankfully, assisted MSMEs have shown strong enthusiasm toward the program," he said.

According to Djaharuddin, stronger financial literacy is essential for helping business owners track business growth more effectively and develop sustainable financial management habits.

He added that the interactive approach allows MSMEs in South Jakarta to learn business financial management in a more practical and enjoyable way.

"We hope the Gang Dagang platform can help business owners better understand capital management, financial bookkeeping, and business development strategies through this interactive simulation game," he noted.
